Hi, my name is Caitlyn Hawkins.
I am a photographer based in Northeast Oklahoma. I am fascinated by the callings of the cowboy life, so I began to photograph the moments that I thought were worth showing others. From there, I decided to capture moments for others that one day, will be irreplaceable. From engagement announcements to a casual family session, I love to give people a memory, a picture, that will last a lifetime. One day, a photograph may be the only way we will be able to relive a place, time, and feeling from years ago. That moment may include people and things that no longer are with us. I am no stranger to losing loved ones, and there is no better gift than the gift of a memory.
My Basis in
Agriculture.
Being from Oklahoma, I have grown up surrounded by livestock, specifically, cattle. From a young age, I helped feed the horses and cattle, rode in the tractor, and followed my dad around. As I grew up, I was given more opportunities to be involved. As a teenager without a job, I spent my summers baling hay and my winters caring for bottle calves. These tasks have given me values that have shaped me into the person I am today. Loving my life in agriculture, I wanted to share my point of view with others. What is a better way of doing this than with photos that explain things better than words ever could.
